Oliver Whitelaw-SwiftBA/LLB I Lawyer

Oliver is a Lawyer at Advocate Lawyers, practising primarily in Criminal Law, Estate Planning, Family Law and Property Law. Having progressed from his earlier role as a paralegal within the firm, Oliver brings with him a strong foundation in legal research, client support, and procedural knowledge, now paired with full admission to the legal profession.

He graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy) from the University of New England. Oliver completed his practical legal training through the College of Law and has since been admitted as a lawyer in Tasmania.

Oliver is passionate about the ethical administration of justice, and he brings a thoughtful, client-centred approach to his work. His legal interests include Family Law, Criminal Law, Environmental Law, and broader issues relating to fairness and integrity in the legal system.
